A Landmark Moment for Consumer Protection: Consumer Ombudsman Credentials Ceremony & Book Presentation Held in Colombo
The Lanka Ambassadors Forum SL/UK, in collaboration with the Organization of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA), successfully conducted the Consumer Ombudsman Credentials Ceremony & Book Presentation in Colombo, marking an important milestone in advancing consumer protection, legal awareness and professional cooperation in Sri Lanka.
The prestigious occasion brought together distinguished members of the legal profession, professional associations, diplomatic and international networks, and other respected stakeholders committed to strengthening consumer rights and protection.
ICAPIFPO Founder Attends as Guest of Honour
The event was honoured by the presence of Deshamanya Deshabandu Dr. H.E.M.N. Sardar Ali, Peace Ambassador and Founder of ICAPIFPO, who attended as the Guest of Honour.

Appointment of the New Consumer Ombudsman
A key highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of Dr. Sunil Apeyrathan as the newly appointed Consumer Ombudsman.
